The Czech Republic saw it too. On Thursday, October 13, our region also launched the PlayStation Stars loyalty program, which offers rewards in the form of various digital collectibles or discounts in the PS Store for completed tasks or newly purchased games.
You can register using this link. Here the owner of the PlayStation console can track their progress. Or perhaps in a mobile app that clearly describes individual tasks, as you can see in the gallery below.
“PlayStation Plus subscribers who also join PlayStation Stars will earn points on every qualifying PlayStation Store purchase. You can redeem the points you earn for PSN Wallet funds and use them towards your next PS Store purchase,” the official website adds.
Tasks are different. After a quick look at the loyalty program, they can be divided into “play any game”, “play a specific game” and “buy the game specified in the offer.” Example: if you turn on your PlayStation 4 or 5 today and start the game, you will receive a collectible banana boomerang (please don’t ask me what it is…just a green banana). You can then display it in a virtual storefront within the app. And if you buy a new installment in the FIFA series, Survival Last of Us: Part I, or any of the six listed titles from the PS Store within the next 18 days, you’ll receive 50 Gold Points.
Points can be redeemed again for digital collectibles… Or something more practical: they can be used to buy games from the PS Store or fund your virtual wallet.
Thus, the award-winning Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will cost 15,000 points, and this year’s hit Cult of the Lamb about a cute sheep and her evil sect will cost 6,250 points. The menu also includes Hades, It Takes Two or The Quarry.
