Fallout is currently celebrating its 25th anniversary. While some celebrate his anniversary by announcing the games that will follow in his footsteps, others reminisce about what it was like to create this fascinating world. Thanks to the contribution of Bethesda, we have the opportunity to listen to the memories of the developers Tim Kaine and Leonard Boyarsky, who are considered the fathers of this post-apocalyptic series. Cain recalls, for example, that Boyarsky wanted everything to be very dark, but he himself wanted to add a touch of humor to the new brand, resulting in a very specific morbid humor, which the brand is famous for today.

The setting itself was chosen because of Boyarsky’s fascination with the 1950s and the future that was presented to people at that time. Once he came to Cain with this idea and he was completely delighted, so he was able to subsequently enter the first part of the Fallout series, which is currently represented primarily by F76.
