Battlefield 2042 is gradually taking shape. However, its creators always stumble from time to time, which, unfortunately, is evidenced by the current situation. The community has long been looking forward to the Liquidators event, which was supposed to enrich this game with a format based on more limited space, smaller teams, and an overall more intense experience. However, after the launch of the entire event, it turned out that it was not fully debugged and even contained several serious errors. Some players didn’t take evolution into account, while others couldn’t equip exposed equipment. Due to these and apparently other issues, DICE disabled the mode less than an hour after it was activated.
The move was not received with great enthusiasm by the community, as many fans liked the concept. Until all the bugs are fixed, the event should be disabled, so it is possible that it will not return at all in Battlefield 2042, or we will have to wait several weeks for it. Update 2.1.1. besides him, it brought several fundamental changes. You can see all summaries here.
We are temporarily disabling the Liquidators mid-season event.
We can see that unlock rewards and event progress are tracked incorrectly and cannot be equipped if shown as unlocked.
We’ll continue as soon as we’re ready to turn the event back on. pic.twitter.com/XmyyEN9w35
