In June of this year, we informed you that the Czech RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance passed the milestone of 5 million copies sold. The fact that the game still manages to find its way to new players even more than 4 years after its release is also confirmed by the sales of the Warhorse studio. Server Lupa.cz drew attention to the publication of financial results for the financial year ended in March this year.
According to Warhorse Studio last fiscal year reported sales of 173 million crowns. Profit before tax then amounted to 124 million dollars. Although compared to last year, this is a decrease in sales and profits, it is still a good indicator. We also have to think about the fact that the income comes mainly from the already slightly bearded Kingdom Come: Deliverance and related content.
For comparison, it can be stated that a year after the release of the game, the turnover of Warhorse exceeded the value of one billion crowns. In 2019, there were 463 million then, and a year earlier – 250 million. We know that Warhorse has been working on an unannounced game for some time now.
The Nintendo Switch port of Kingdom Come: Deliverance is also being developed in collaboration with Saber Interactive, which is being developed primarily through fan interest. You can get more information about the game in our periodic review or on the official Steam page where it is currently on sale.
