The System Shock remake is finally coming out

Authors from Nightdive are getting ready complete remake of the original 1994 game and combine the original gameplay with improved controls, graphics, a redesigned interface, and new sounds and music. It can’t be missed SHODAN’s original AI dabblerone of the most iconic villains.

SHODAN is a psychotic artificial intelligence that has taken control of Citadel Station and turned its crew into an army of cyborgs and mutants. He plans to do the same with Earth. You must find carve your way through the depths of a space station turned into hell. The goal is to stop SHODAN and prevent the destruction of humanity.

As for the future of the series, well System Shock 3 originally announced in 2015 with Warren Spector as creative consultant. Three years later, the project fell apart after the Starbreeze label ran into financial difficulties. Studio OtherSide parted ways with Starbreeze and wanted to work on the game on their own. Two years later, there were reports of problems with the development and departure of staff. Shortly thereafter, OtherSide management announced that Chinese conglomerate Tencent would “continue the System Shock series.”

Since then it has been quiet. Also planned TV adaptation of System Shockthe script is to be written by Greg Russo, who is behind the Mortal Kombat movie.
