Last year, Disco Elysium lost several founding members who had a significant impact on the shape of the final product. While co-founder Martin Luiga seemed relatively optimistic in his contribution last week in an interview with Gamepressure, the editors managed to get more out of him. He commented on the release:It happened at the end of last year. They were released on false grounds and it was all very traumatic for them and their loved ones.According to the interview, the main reason for the dismissal was that the trio of developers became inconvenient for the ZA / UM studio and therefore they were fired.

According to Luigi, ZA/UM is not currently in a position to create a sequel to Disco Elysium. The main reason for this is supposed to be the removal of the required trio and a few other employees for development. He himself works with the idea that the shamrock of developers will continue to make games in the future.
