Half-Life: Alyx will descend upon PlayStation VR2new PS5 virtual reality headset, 2023: This was confirmed by a self-leaker who claimed to have definitively heard the news given by his own sources.
Half-Life: Alyx, which can drive VR headset sales with close to a million pieces, will not be one of the launch games. PSVR2According to this source, however, Sony has so far struck a deal with Valve to secure the perfect shooter.
“Our source has provided us with factual information and legitimate leaks,” he adds on the website The Leak, adding: “However, nothing is set in stone, given the many delays and cancellations that are now commonplace in the video game world.”
In fact, this isn’t the first time we’ve talked about how the Valve title might continue. PlayStation 5: last January, an insider reported that Half-Life: Alyx might be coming to PlayStation VR2, but no further development has taken place.
Needless to say, this rumor should be taken with a grain of salt pending confirmation or denial from Sony. Of course, being able to play Alyx on PSVR2 wouldn’t be bad at all…
