“Recently we have been bombarded with requests and questions about the state of development of Abandoned. Regarding the latest rumors about the cancellation of the project, we assure you that these rumors are not true.” is in the statement.

“We are working on revealing the title through the app, on social media and as a prologue. We originally planned for the first quarter of 2022, but we lowered the schedule and are not ready yet.” they add.

The app, which Blue Box calls real-time work, was launched for the PlayStation 5 last August, but it had only a few empty boxes and a very short and meaningless teaser. Studio boss Hassan Kahraman later admitted that it was a disaster and promised a new trailer very soon followed by a playable prologue. Both have now been postponed indefinitely.

So, will we believe them this time? Survival horror action game Abandoned has generated controversy since its announcement.
