Overwatch has indeed come a long way, in the course of which it managed to attract many fans of this genre to the game. In total, it managed to recruit a little over 30 million active players. However, it is true that over time it began to lose steam compared to its competitors. The main reason for this was the lack of interest from Blizzard, who simply didn’t regularly add content to the game, slowly killing it while preparing its successor. With today’s launch of Overwatch 2, the journey of the first part comes to an end completely, to be reborn in a new form and, above all, in a free-to-play format that is currently denounced by some as a hero discovery format.
What about you? Have you experienced anything memorable in this excellent game over the years?
While I thought the “See you October 4th” message and the original hero lobby image were the perfect way to spend OW1, this enlarged image of Roadhog’s stomach that appeared for “Play” after new matches was disabled might be even better.#See you on the other side pic.twitter.com/9ALX5WUV7m
