Valve from next year will change the established order of the four big seasonal sales on Steam and announces today three big salesincluding their timing. When should we prepare our wallets?
Upcoming Seasonal Sale dates on Steam:
- Autumn sale: from 22 to 29 November.
- Christmas sale: from December 22 to January 5.
- Spring Sale: from 16 to 23 March.
This will be new for 2023 spring salewhich will replace discounts for the Lunar New Year. “The developer and publisher community has been asking us for a Spring Sale for a long time, and we must agree that this will be a welcome change that will extend the intervals between seasonal sales and provide additional discount opportunities throughout the year. ” explains Valve’s decision. The company states that received criticismthat the lunar sale is close to the December Christmas sale.
The Spring Sale is described by Valve like any other seasonal sale. Also, as part of the spring sale, the entire home page of the store will change and discounts will be visible first of all.
Seasonal sales have become a Steam tradition and every time they attract a large number of customers who buy games at deep discounts and replenish their digital libraries with new and old games.
