A Plague Tale: Requiem will be noticeably longer than the previous part

Developer Asobo recently released several new samples from the upcoming story-driven action-adventure A Plague Tale: Requiem, which are now updated with information about the length of the game. Lead level designer Kevin Pinson told Play magazine that the title it will be finished in about 15-18 hours.

At the same time, the previous part with the subtitle Innocence was completed in about 10 hours. And Plague Tale: Requiem has to offer it at least a third more experience. Due to the length of the game, Pinson also assured players that the plot would definitely not be artificially stretched out.

According to him, the developers, on the contrary, focused on telling a linear story at a fast pace. The authors also confirmed that the PS5 version of the game will use the DualSense controller features in the form of adaptive triggers and haptic feedback.

Plague Tale: Requiem will be released October 18 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and cloud version also on Nintendo Switch. The game will appear in Game Pass on the day of release.
