In a promotional video Assassin’s Creed: Mirage there’s a slight hint of what we can expect from an action adventure. If you haven’t noticed, then nothing is happening. Many players have gone through this, but storyteller Sara Beaulieu pointed it out on Twitter.
What’s the matter? Screenwriters use Arabic and Muslim mythology. As an example, this can be seen in the first trailer Gin. Others at Ubisoft call him an Arab. These are demons that can take on any form. There are both good and evil genies in Arabic mythology – we see more of the latter category in the video. They are believed to live in deserts. Jinn are of course associated with legends in which people make them grant three wishes.

Fans have a lot of theories with the mentioned gin. But according to Beaulieu, none of them are close to the truth. But soon we have to meet with the genie.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be released in 2023 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game focuses on story and stealth.
The creature that Basim sees in #AssassinsCreedMirage the trailer is indeed a genie (we call it “genie”, we use the Arabic word). I saw your theories about him: lots of great ideas, but none of them are close to the truth 😉 Don’t worry, you will meet our genie soon… pic.twitter.com/9Q17fhayLG
