Following a major Grand Theft Auto 6 gameplay video leak, over 50 minutes of Diablo 4 gameplay video has surfaced online. Blizzard’s upcoming RPG video shows off a watermarked “private test build” with multiple combat encounters, open-world exploration, and menu navigation.
As with the GTA 6 leaks, the Diablo 4 videos show an unfinished build that is clearly not intended for the general public. In a populated village, various walls and other structures are marked with “gray box” placeholder assets, and open world areas don’t appear to be fully populated with monsters or environmental objects.
The footage primarily shows barbarian gameplay, so if you’re hoping to see any of Diablo 4’s other classes in action, you’re out of luck. The player scales the walls of a massive ruined fortress to access the dungeon, jumping chasms and scaling vertical walls to enter.
As of this writing, there has been no official response from Activision Blizzard regarding the leaked videos, and it is still unclear how these videos ended up in the leak. It appears that at least some of the footage was captured from a stream (likely Discord) as voices are heard from people who appear to be watching rather than playing.
The prominent watermark includes a nine-digit string; this can indicate a build number, but it can also identify the user who leaked it. For legal reasons (and because leaks are bad for just about everyone), we won’t link here, but you can easily find it on Reddit if you want.
We’ve reached out to Activision Blizzard for comment and will update this story with any statement the company provides.
