The four-track EP features the song Ivar and the Horde Arcade Paradise in four different guises, with all proceeds going to Safe in Our World, a mental health charity that focuses on the video game industry. will be sold by £3 / $3.41and you can download it via Bandcamp.

“I hope gamers and music lovers enjoy the song’s message and how the money raised will impact the great work Safe In Our World is doing,” said Leo Zullo, general manager of Wired Productions.

“Music has always been in the DNA of Wired Productions, so starting a music label is a natural fit for us. Because we’re independent, we pick and choose the projects we work on, so our first release combines our favorite things…video games, great music, and supporting a mental health charity near us…because we can! !

Music and gaming collided in 2022 as Funcom’s Metal Hellsinger took rhythm gaming to a bloody new level.

Speaking of Metal Hellsinger at Gamescom, Trivium icon Matt Heafy told us that “metal should be in games,” hoping that over the years we’ll finally see how the mainstream music scene and video game universe they intertwine.

League of Legends has been making strides toward that goal, consistently bringing in musical titans like Imagine Dragons and Lil Nas X to perform at its annual World Championships. We’re paving the way for more interaction between popular music and gaming, and projects like Black Razor Records are the perfect way to keep that dream alive.

If you would like to donate to Safe in Our World, you can do so through this link. You can also check out our list of the best indie games, because who knows, maybe another studio will follow in Wired’s footsteps.
