Soulstice is an adventure game that takes you into a dark, if not dark, fantasy universe. The action takes place in the metropolis of Ilden, whose population is suffering under the onslaught of monsters from another dimension. Only the main character, or rather, the main characters, can resist them. Chained to the brave Briar is his sister Lut, who helps her destroy deadly monsters.
During the gameplay, the main characters undergo development, for which they pay with the souls of defeated enemies. However, Briar’s main tool will be a massive two-handed sword, with which she will cut through everything that gets in her way. In general, this is an entertaining version that stands out from the crowd, primarily due to the joint work of two sisters, who, in fact, have only one body at their disposal. The levels are very nicely done, but I probably wouldn’t mind if it weren’t for such a strict hallway.
Soulstice is available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
