Fortnite welcomes the new season – Zing

Developer Epic Games today officially unveiled and simultaneously released new content for Fortnite available as part of the arrival of the fourth season. Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4: Paradise takes you to an island first new substance in the form of chromium. This will significantly affect the overall gameplay.

For example, chrome weapons allow you to create walk-through walls. However, it will be possible to chrome even your own character, which will temporarily turn you into a chrome ball and thus make you immune to some attacks. There are a lot of these mechanics at first glance reminiscent of the popular Splatoon series from Nintendo.
