The VCMI project is a great example of how a passionate gaming community works. Several fans have decided to port Heroes of Might and Magic III to the new engine. It’s not an easy job, but if you’re passionate about what you’re doing, you’ll make it in the end. After several years of development, we finally have a complete version of this work. So, to be more precise, version 1.0, which of course will be further developed. It offers players improved artificial intelligence, many mods that can be easily inserted into the game, as well as a map generator that will keep you entertained at all times.
A huge plus of the VCMI version of Heroes of Might and Magic III is the fact that, in addition to PC and Mac, the vastly improved game is free to play on Android and iOS, on which you most likely won’t play the legendary strategy game otherwise.
