If you prefer to bump up the frame rate and enjoy scavenging at higher resolutions, Naughty Dog says you’ll need a GPU with at least 8GB of VRAM. Using a rig with an RTX 2070 or AMD RX 5700 XT should help you play 1440p at 60fps, but you’ll need one of the best graphics cards available, like an RTX 3080, to bump the resolution up to 4K.

You don’t necessarily need the best gaming CPU to enjoy the Uncharted Collection with higher settings enabled, but Naughty Dog’s recommendations for CPUs are far from light. If you’re happy with 7th-gen graphics and frame rates, you can go for something like the Intel i5-4330, a chip that’s been around since 2013.

Developer Sony lists the Intel i9-9900k among its 4K 60fps recommendations, so it may take more than one expensive upgrade to get the most out of the Uncharted collection on PC. While the game can be said to eat up a lot of in-game RAM, Naughty Dog’s 16GB recommendation is pretty standard for a big-budget launch, and meeting the 8GB minimum shouldn’t be a problem.

Finally, if you still have an older mechanical hard drive in your system, you may want to consider investing in the best gaming SSD before you pick up the Legacy of Thieves collection. Naughty Dog strongly recommends using an SSD even if you stick to the minimum specs, and downloading Uncharted on Steam requires a whopping 126GB of storage space.

Valve has yet to confirm the deck’s Steam compatibility with the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves set, but it could earn its “Verified” stripes at launch. Spider-Man Remastered, Horizon Zero Dawn, and God of War all have the store’s stamp of approval, so Nathan Drake’s release will likely be “beautiful on deck” as well.
