The Resident Evil series could not miss today’s Capcom presentation at the Tokyo Game Show. We’ve got a new preview of the Gold Edition of Resident Evil Village, which shows the 3rd person mode, new content for the Mercenaries and, of course, the Shadows of Rose story DLC. The winter expansion will be released on October 28 this year.
But the most interesting thing happened later. We’ve learned new information about the Resident Evil 4 Remake. The upcoming game, currently announced for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, will be played on another platform, namely the Sony console from the previous one. generation – PlayStation 4. It would have been logical then to suggest also announcing a version for Xbox One, but Capcom did not do this. It looks like he’s negotiated some form of exclusivity with Sony and XONE won’t be looking at the title. Nothing about the release date should change, Resident Evil 4 Remake will release on March 24, 2023.
We finally found out that in October we will see another Resident Evil Showcase. However, we do not yet know the exact date of the event.
The new Resident Evil Showcase has just been announced on #TGS2022!
Stay tuned for more news and updates on Resident Evil Village Gold Edition, Resident Evil 4 and more next month.
