Electronic Arts announced today that the popular game The Sims 4 will be free to play. Main game it will be free from October 18 this yearwhen all available platforms (PC, Mac, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S) switch to the new payment model.
In connection with this change, the authors invite new content in the form of various packs and other additional content, which will mostly be for money. It will certainly be interesting to see how the whole game will change with the transition to the free-to-play model and what the large fan community has to say about the changes made.
More Developers will be announced on October 18 in a separate thread called For The Sims Summit. Players who have already purchased The Sims 4 in the past will receive some additional packs as compensation. More information about these bonuses can be found on the official website of the game.
