Start Grunex GP F1 22
On Thursday, September 8, the first Grand Prix of the Grunex GP series started in F1 22. The championship will take place on all platforms where this racing game is available. The podium will be played at five different Grand Prix, the routes of which will be chosen by the participants themselves. Twenty of them will compete for a prize fund of 13,000 CZK. Only the best drivers and the constructors’ championship winning team will take home the prize. The tournament will be accompanied by streamer Emerikson on his Twitch channel, who will also take part personally. The points rating corresponds to the system of real Formula 1 races, and you can follow the running results of the championship on the official Grunex Instagram. The top three pilots will share nine thousand kroons, and the winner of the cup will receive a prize of four thousand kroons.
Start Valorant East United
Grunex provides Czech commentary for the Valorant East United competition on its Twitch channel. Vojtech “TIXI” Tichi will guide you through the live broadcast. The competition consists of six weekly series, which will decide the monthly finals. This will always happen after the three weekly series have been played. Each month, the three winners will be joined by one specially invited team. The Grand Final will determine the overall winner of the match between the two teams, who will receive a $600 prize. The winner of the weekly series will take home a cool $400 in addition to moving forward. The second and third place teams will receive $300 and $100 respectively. Prizes will also be awarded to teams that manage to reach the monthly finals. The rewards for the first three players are $400, $200, and $90. You can find the championship schedule below. Twitch cancels hosting
It wouldn’t be Twitch if it didn’t spark heated debate again. This time, the company decided to remove the so-called hosting feature. Basically, this is a system that will allow a popular streamer to redirect viewers to someone else after the broadcast ends. It is often used to promote small streamers with more or less quality content. But that will change from October. According to Twitch, the reason for the removal of the feature is the unfulfilled expectations of viewers. Viewers can currently watch the end streamer, but cannot interact with it directly. After disabling the feature, the selected authors will appear in the recommended channels instead of being redirected. The information originally appeared in the Twitch FAQ section. It didn’t take long for the overwhelmingly negative reaction, and a heated debate erupted among Twitch fans. Streamer xxBrandy believes this change makes it harder for other peers to promote. According to him, it does not bring anything positive. Others point to a much bigger problem with so-called raids. They use the guest function for dishonest activities. Streamers often send hordes of their fans who spare no racist and sexist insults to the chosen streamer, who almost cannot avoid it. That is, except for turning off the broadcast itself. So these are two sides of the coin. In my opinion, instead of disabling features, Twitch should work on improving them.
