Overwatch 2 will be very different from the first game in many ways. One of the significant aspects will be the fact that the creators will not ask for a penny for the multiplayer version of the game. A form of punishment for this journey will be the fact that all the heroes this time around will be unavailable the moment you jump into the game. You’ll only get three champions, and the rest of the characters will need to be unlocked through the Battle Pass, making the title relatively out of reach for a group that doesn’t have time to constantly play. However, all heroes should be available in the free line of the battle pass, so you don’t have to worry about any character being locked out to you.
If you happen to not play during the season, you have nothing to worry about. Heroes can be obtained in Overwatch 2 even after beating it. However, as with most free games, everything will be largely based on the grind, without which you will not be able to get to the characters. Whether it will be possible to get to them faster through finance, none of the creators has yet specified. Given the path that Blizzard has been following for a long time, this path cannot be completely ruled out, because the exploitation of this work will have to be paid from something, and this direction can be a decent money generator.
The Overwatch 2 release date has been set for October 4, 2022. On this day, the game will appear on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
Addressing the incomplete information previously posted about our Overwatch 2 Battle Pass, we’ll share all the details ahead of launch, but want to confirm that Overwatch 2’s new heroes will be available in the free version of the Battle Pass.
