If you enjoy playing video games on your PC, you probably use Steam to buy and play individual games. If you have entered the store on the platform hoping to find a new game in your favorite genre, you may have hit a roadblock. The search was very confusing.
If I decide I want to find a new game tagged RPG, there’s nothing easier than clicking the Category tab in the store and then selecting the RPG option. What followed was much worse until recently. No personalization and a confusing list of titles.

Valve realized that something needed to be done about this (just like with the Steam mobile app). Brand, genre, and category site redesigns have been extensively tested in Steam Labs for several months. Now it’s finally up and running and the changes are really bearing fruit.
So if you now click on the mentioned RPG genre, for example, you will be taken to a nice and clear page. The first thing you will notice is carousel full of recommended titles. They are shown right below it. related brands, in the case of an RPG it could be a JRPG, an action RPG or a roguelike. Below you will find a collection of popular games in this category, and below you will find lists of recently released games recommended based on your gaming history. And finally there is also a search bar where you can install filters carefully.
