The Disney & Marvel Games Showcase couldn’t help but feature Firaxis’ highly anticipated tactical RPG, which you may know mostly from the Civilization and XCOM series. Of course, we’re talking about Marvel’s Midnight Suns title, which had a very strong marketing campaign in recent months, but it ended up being delayed from October for some time this fiscal year.
Now I saw an edited demo that combines cutscenes and gameplay. This was followed by a stylized video, inviting us to a series of short animated videos introducing us to individual characters in more detail. However, the most important announcement was the new release date, which is scheduled for December 2 this yearwhich, incidentally, coincides with the release day of the long-awaited horror film The Callisto Protocol.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns is out on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
