The highly anticipated multiplayer game Splatoon 3 is finally out.

The next part of the excellent Splatoon series, where there is never a shortage of colors, is here. This time around, Splatoon 3 is betting on three game modes that you can play while playing this multiplayer action. In Salmon Run, you and up to three other players will fight off a salmon invasion, which you will have to stop with the help of flowers and, above all, teamwork. If co-op isn’t your thing and AI combat is downright boring, there’s an alternative in the form of Turf War, where you face off against the enemy team in a livery. You can go into battle with a variety of weapons, made up of both old and new parts.

In addition to multiplayer modes, there is also a story campaign. Yes, you read it right. Single-player fan games will also come in handy, where you get your hands on Agent 3, whose goal is to stop the evil Octarians. The campaign is designed to present you with a series of difficult challenges, and as a result will be one way to prepare for your opponents in multiplayer.

Splatoon 3 launched today on Nintendo Switch, kicking off the game’s first season full of unlockable cosmetic changes. There are updates and major DLCs planned for the long term, so there’s something to look forward to.
