New leaked RTX 4000 benchmarks have appeared online, with the RTX 4090 said to be 90% faster than the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090. The next-gen GPU stats are in line with previous claims, and previously there were double speed rumors in TimeSpy Extreme.
Notice from a Twitter user 9550pro, the RTX 4090 test originally appeared on Chiphell’s post, but has now been removed. When tested with 3DMark, the RTX 4000 GPU appears to get a score of 20,192, which is slightly higher than the previously rumored 19,000.

The RTX 4000 leak also includes clock speed stats and can be considered anomalous. The RTX 4090 is believed to be clocked at 2520 MHz, but leaked benchmarks point to a high 3015 MHz. By comparison, the RTX 3090 Ti tops out at 1860 MHz, so its successor might leave it behind. .
As with all RTX 4000 performance leaks, we recommend using the benchmarks above with the usual dose of skepticism. The RTX 4090 will undoubtedly compete for the title of best graphics card when it comes out, but we have to test it ourselves to get a true picture of performance.
RTX 4000 Announcement
Fortunately, it looks like Nvidia is about to reveal all of its next-gen secrets, as the RTX 4000 announcement is scheduled for this month. Green Team’s “Project Beyond” event coincides with CEO Jensen Huang’s GTC 2022 keynote, so we’re likely to hear all about the RTX 4090 and the company’s plans for the future.
However, it is possible that only the RTX 4090 will appear this year, as Nvidia will have a hard time finding the final specifications of the RTX 4070. Also, we may end up releasing two versions of the RTX 4080 alongside the cards. There seem to be two options for VRAM.
