According to the latest information shared by Telltale Games, The Wolf Among Us 2 can come out later Expansion: on Telltale Gamescurrently appears to be under further development.
In-store release for both games is scheduled for next year. Specifically, we know Expansion: A Telltale Series will launch in the summer, as confirmed by the latest official trailer presented at Gamescom 2022, while The Wolf Among Us 2 is scheduled for an overall 2023.
Replying to a user on Twitter who asked which of the two games would come out first, Telltale said, “We still can’t give an answer. But both are planned for 2023. This is the best we can say. This is the moment.”
In a second post, the studio also hinted that The Wolf Between Us 2 is still in full development, noting that it won’t be showing any more material “for a while” to avoid building anticipation too soon.
“When will we get more content in The Wolf Between Us 2?” It asks the reg user. “We won’t be showing anything for a while, Reg. We have to let the developers develop. We are very careful not to overdo it.”
The Wolf Among Us 2 is Telltale’s new series based on Vertigo’s Fables comic book series and starring Bigby Wolf. The Expanse: A Telltale Series is based on Amazon’s sci-fi series of the same name.
