We are Steelrising in Review recommended on 7/10 for an interesting idea and design of the world, side quests and amazing music. Foreign media give a similar assessment. In game average 73% on Opencritic and 71-73% on Metacritic by platform.
Reviewers appreciate the relatively fresh storyline with a unique atmosphere and aesthetic that sets the game apart from others. On the other hand, they point to worse graphics qualitywhich is more reminiscent of the older generation of consoles.
There are fights quite demanding, has a wide variety of weapons and enemies, and the developers have done a great job of introducing elements of the souls genre – as opposed to the criticized elements of metroidvania. Steelrising encourages character research and development. Unfortunately, even this name was not free from errors and problems, incl. strange artificial intelligence.
