The ORYX K500X follows the very popular K300X, which however had clicky switches. The crayons can be edited in the included software, as well as profiles, macros and a rich selection of light animations. Thus, you can customize the keyboard to your own image.
Planning is also important. TKL in this case means keyless, i.e. no numeric part. In most games, the numbers are not needed and just take up too much space for the mouse. Thus, you can freely move the keyboard around the table to feel comfortable while playing. Your mouse will also appreciate more space, not only when playing shooters. Due to its small size, the keyboard is easier to carry and is therefore suitable for LANs and other events.
Even such a compact keyboard is not without multimedia keys. They are activated with the Fn button and within a second you can turn on, for example, the browser or turn off the music.
To connect the keyboard, an old braided cable 1.5 meters long is used, while on the underside we find adjustable anti-slip feet. The keyboard stays firmly on the table in any situation and will not surprise you even if you are heavily immersed in the game. Support for N-Key Rollover proves it, so you don’t have to worry about pressing multiple buttons at the same time. ORYX K500X records every keystroke and never leaves you in the dark.
