The creators of Gears of War are collaborating on State of Decay 3

State of Decay is an action packed zombie game with a lot of players. Over the past few years, its latest installment, State of Decay 2, has been played by over 11 million players, which can be considered an enviable number. Therefore, it is not too surprising that State of Decay 3 has been in development for some time. The game is expected, but little was known about it for a long time. Until now, when the head of Xbox Game Studios Matt Booty talked about it in one of the podcasts. The developers at Undead Labs will be collaborating on this project with veteran development studio The Coalition, which most of us know mostly from the Gears of War series.

It is assumed that the well-known developer company will give the authors of State of Decay 3 a new experience using Unreal Engine 5 and even transfer some elements from their series to this project, which can be of great benefit to the brand. For myself, I count on brutal finishing moves, but who knows what the creators will bring. The very development of a zombie action game is not perfect. It is still in preparation due to workplace issues that have thankfully been resolved. In general, of course, much more was said during the interview.
