AT Rockstar games prepared a special page with public gratitude to all those who took part in Grand Theft Auto 5 as well as GTA Online. All are listed on the page in alphabetical order, including their positions.

It’s interesting that more than 6500 people and a dozen companies also includes testers. They are mostly forgotten, or they are among the last to be listed. At Rockstar, at least outwardly, their work is appreciated.

“Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online are the result of many years of work by our global team. We want to acknowledge and thank everyone who has contributed to the success of these games from their original launch in 2013 to the present day.” writes Rockstar on a special page, check it out.

Why now, fans ask, suggesting the studio is putting GTA Online on the back burner so the team can dedicate yourself entirely to Grand Theft Auto 6which is officially in development, although we don’t know anything about it.

Consider the success of the game. gta5 170 million units sold, making it the second best-selling game after Minecraft (235 million). Gangster action was born in 2013 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It later migrated to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, and finally to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The big success was no doubt helped by the multiplayer part called GTA Online, which caused Rockstar to cancel a planned single player expansion.
