I’m sure we all know Mario. The legendary plumber who, under the Nintendo brand, has studied almost all game genres. Well, every family friendly genre. However, Ubisoft’s Rabbids are trying to compete with it, and they’re also jumping into the party genre with the subtitle Party of Legends. And believe me this the consignment it really will be legendary (so it depends on how much alcohol you and your friends drank in the evening).
The concept of this game is simple. Basically it’s about over 50 mini-games thrown in one bag. Want to train your reflexes, test your memory, defeat a giant boss, or just dance with cute bunnies? Party of Legends has it all, and you only need a few buttons to play, so even your grandma can figure out the mini-games. You can play at the same time locally up to four players, either against each other or in teams. If you don’t have enough friends, don’t worry, Ubisoft will hire their interns to play with you.
The only downside to this title is that you don’t have all the mini-games unlocked from the start. There is a special adventure mode. These are essentially the same mini-games, only connected by a funny plot. The further you advance in adventure mode, the more games you unlock. Unfortunately, this means that if you sit down with your friends and don’t Adventure Mode want to play, you will have more than half of the mini-games blocked. This is a real shame. It’s a shame that here no online multiplayer.
But you can have a good time with friends or family. The Rabbids return to the Party of Legends title with seven points out of ten.
Verdict
Rabbids: Party of Legends is a great game for gamers of all ages. It offers fun mini-games with simple controls and cute characters. Too bad you have to unlock most of the mini-games. We also regret the lack of online multiplayer. Otherwise, it’s a fun name that will interest both your family and friends.
