Confirming leaks a few days ago, Square Enix officially announced it today. Sound of Cards: Beast of the LoadThe new installment of the RPG series created by NieR and Drakengard’s father, Yoko Taro. The game will be available for PC, PS4 and Nintendo Switch here. September 13, 2022. The announcement was accompanied by the first official trailer and the first image gallery that you can see in the news.
Beasts of Burden is the third installment of Voice of Cards, an oriental RPG series with board game visuals in which game environments are reproduced in the form of cards. Previous games are The Isle Dragon Roars, which launched in October last year, and The Forsaken Maiden, which hit digital stores in February. Again, Voice of Cards: The Beasts of Burden will be narratively unrelated to the other games in the series, and therefore will be basically a standalone experience.
The new game takes place in a world where humans and monsters coexist, but this is no easy coexistence: the two species hate each other and have been in conflict for millennia. Players will take on the role beerA young girl embarks on a journey to take revenge on the monsters that destroyed her underground village.

Sound of Cards: Beasts of Burden adds a host of new mechanics. catching monsters turning them into cards and then using them to our advantage in battle. Beasts of Burden will also break narratively from the other games in the series and will be basically a standalone experience and therefore will not require you to play the previous games.
At launch, in addition to the standard edition, a Digital Deluxe Edition will also be available, which includes a number of DLC items inspired by NieR Reincarnation. Players who purchase the game by October 3 will receive the “The Iron Avatar” and “Somber Girl’s Abstract Pattern” DLCs that unlock cosmetic items in the game.
