On Tuesday, we wrote about the new Assassin’s Creed leak, which was first reported by Jason Schreier earlier this year. It was then codenamed “Rift”, but according to a new report, it should be subtitled “Mirage”. It didn’t take long, and we shouldn’t even consider this information unofficial. The game was announced by Ubisoft itself.
This happened on Twitter through a simple message that the next installment in the Assassin’s Creed series would be Mirage. We should find out the details at the upcoming Ubisoft Forward event, which will take place on September 10 at 21:00 our time.
According to unofficial information, the action of the game should take place in Baghdad and we have to play for Basim, who has already appeared in Valhalla. Allegedly, this will be a return to the origins of the entire series, which means more linearity and the removal of some RPG elements. Let’s see if this information is confirmed.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage is the next game in the Assassin’s Creed series.
We can’t wait to tell you more September 10 at Ubisoft Forward: 21:00 CEST | 12:00 pm Pacific time. #Assassin’s Creed pic.twitter.com/92LoEcrrWs
