The developers of Endnight Games have finally announced the exact release date of the game. Sons of the Forest, also confirming another delay. Jungle survival horror sequel will be available from now February 23, 2023 for the price $29.99therefore, it will come a few months after the previously announced release period set for October 2022.
The announcement came in a Twitter post from the studio, explaining that the size of the project made it difficult for developers to set a firm release date and, hopefully, delay the launch for the last time.
Sons of the Forest was announced at The Game Awards in 2019 with its debut scheduled for 2021. But at the end of last year, Endnight Games had to postpone the game to May of this year, then to October for a second time. finally in February 2023.
From the official reveal on Steam, we learn that in Sons of the Forest we will be on a mission to travel to a remote island to find a missing billionaire, but of course things will soon get worse. There will be no shortage of survival items, with players needing to gather resources and craft items to survive. The Jungle sequel introduces a new time-related mechanic with changing seasons that will affect the game world and enemies.
