The mobile market is a generator of finance, from which money simply flows steadily. After Activision and its success with Diablo Immortal, obviously Sony is also going to enter it at full speed. According to a new blog from PlayStation Studios CEO Hermen Hulst, the company has acquired mobile game studio Savage Game Studios. This became part of the company’s newly created division, dubbed the PlayStation Studios Mobile Division. As the name suggests, this is a division focused primarily on the mobile sphere and bringing well-known Sony brands to mobile devices.

In the future, this could mean that Ratchet & Clank, Spider-Man, God of War or other brands from this company will appear on mobile phones. I can well imagine the possibility that we will see an MMO game similar to the successful Diablo Immortal. But who knows what the next years will bring.

What do you think? Are you glad that Sony has entered this river? And what do you think it will bring to mobile phones?
