As the release date approaches The Last of Us Part 1 there’s a new trailer that focuses on the game’s accessibility options.
Naughty Dog studio used the features available in The Last of Us Part 2 and in the remake of the first part, this one they developed the basis. The developers want blind, deaf and handicapped players to enjoy the game.
They are the biggest news sound descriptions in movie scenesto help visually impaired players. This option was created in collaboration with Descriptive Video Works, which offers the same service on TV, film and video.
Deaf gamers will appreciate dialogue playback thanks to the DualSense controller’s haptic feedback. Thus, a deaf player can perceive how accented sentences are pronounced in order to better understand the situation.
It goes without saying that controls remapping, color and contrast changes, subtitle and UI enlargement, navigation assistance, and text-to-speech are included.
