After an unsuccessful film adaptation in July of this year, we got a live stream from the world of the horror series Resident Evil. While it received a solid 6 out of 10 in our review, the overall response was not very favorable. On Rotten Tomatoes, the series, which was shown in our country with the subtitle The Cure, was able to “boast” 55% of critics and only 27% of hundreds of viewers. The creators initially had ambitious plans and were preparing for the next few seasons, but now we know that this will not happen.

Deadline magazine has published exclusive information that Netflix canceled the series after the first season. This happened even after relatively low numbers in terms of the number of subscribers. Of course, this is not the first project that Netflix has put an end to after the first season, on the other hand, in this case it is not too surprising.
