On the occasion of the improvement of German cities, Microsoft released today Junkers F 13 aircraft, another aircraft from a series of local legends. The F 13 is a single-engine low-wing aircraft of the German aircraft manufacturer Junkers, the first flight of which took place on 06/25/1919. The F 13 was one of the most innovative aircraft of early aviation, as it was the first all-metal civil transport aircraft in the world to use duralumin (aluminum alloy) and boasted first-class technical solutions, especially in the design of the wing. In thirteen years of production, over 300 F 13s were produced. The well-built, reliable and stable aircraft flew all over the world, and some even in the early 1950s.

The Junkers F 13 boasts a range of 870 miles, a climb rate of 470 feet per minute and an operating ceiling of 16,700 feet above sea level. It flies at 100 miles per hour and has a top speed of 106 miles per hour.

The Junkers F 13 is available in four variants: Historic with standard chassis (wheels), Historic with floats, Historic with skis, and a replica variant. Liveries include Vintage, Xbox, and Aviator’s Club. You can buy it from the in-Sim store for $15.

In addition, the Microsoft Flight Simulator team has revealed more about the 40th Anniversary Edition. The edition will be released as a free update and will include helicopters and gliders. According to Microsoft, this is the most requested improvement in the community.
