Sony announced a price increase this morning. prefix 5 for selected markets including the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The new MSRP is set at €549.99 (expressed at CZK 13,560) with the Blu-ray drive and €449.99 (€449.99) for the digital version. But what will be the price in Czech stores?
Czech customers must be prepared for price increase by one thousand crowns. Reliable source Indian-tv.cz has revealed that the new recommended retail price for Czech stores is 14,490 kroons with mechanics and 11,790 kroons without mechanics.
In Slovak stores, the above price in euros must apply.
PS5 price increases in select markets in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, Latin America, and Canada due to inflation. In the US, the price of the PlayStation 5 has remained the same. A more detailed statement from Sony is here.
