in the evening hours Future Games Show announced and presented The Imperfect Grail: The Fall of Avalon Together introduction video which showed the various stages of the game.
Developed by Awaken Realms open world action RPG It is characterized by a first-person perspective, quite reminiscent of Bethesda’s classical tradition, and a medieval fantasy setting that mixes typical elements of the genre with other more exclusive and creative stuff.
It is an open world RPG filled with missions that offer quite different gameplay situations. It is also an adaptation of a board game of the same name, staging a reinterpretation of the game. King Arthur’s cycle definitely in a darker and more disturbing version.
In this alternate world, King Arthur is dead and everything he’s built is falling apart, dark forces are creeping everywhere and humans are forced to defend themselves against a looming threat after another.
In all this, we are called upon to try to save the world one after another, by confronting monsters and evil creatures and trying to restore order, in an ideal world that is absolutely destroyed after tragic events. There’s no release date yet for Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon, but the game has moved ahead in development, as evidenced by this new trailer straight from Gamescom 2022.
