On the occasion of Gamescom 2022, asus introduced various new products in the series ROG How mice, power supplies, WiFi peripherals and headphonesin addition to the previously announced next-generation monitors and motherboards.
Yesterday we saw ROG monitors at 42 and 48 inches at 4K and 138Hz and new AMD X670E motherboards ready for the Ryzen 7000, today we’re taking a look at the other products presented at the event.
One of them is the new power supply ROG Loki SFX-L 850W PlatinumIt represents a new line of PSUs built specifically for high-performance yet compact small form factor (SFF) gaming builds in ITX builds.
The power supply is PCIe 5.0 ready and comes with a 16-pin cable to power up to 600 watts. Inside, there are two ROG coolers and 120mm axial cooling fans with PWM control. Loki is 80 PLUS Platinum certified with up to 92% efficiency.
A particularly powerful solution is offered when it comes to network peripherals. ROG Rapture GT6A tri-band network system designed for gaming, offering up to 10 streams and WiFi speeds of up to 10,000 Mbps, the device is equipped with 9 internal antennas and ASUS RangeBoost technology that increases connection range.
ROG Rapture GT-AXE16000 is the world’s first quad-band WiFi 6E gaming router equipped with a next-generation Broadcom WiFi chipset and a 2.0GHz quad-core 64-bit CPU.
It is also equipped with ASUS RF technology and ASUS RangeBoost Plus, which again increases its range.
ROG Keris Wireless AimPoint ROG AimPoint is one of the new mice introduced by Asus, an ultra-light (75 grams) wireless gaming peripheral that offers gamers exceptional sensitivity thanks to its optical sensor. The ROG sensor offers 36,000 dpi with less than 1% cpi deviation, 650 ips speed and a 1,000 Hz polling rate with acceleration up to 50 g.
The mouse can be used in 2.4GHz RF, Bluetooth or wired mode. 2.4GHz RF mode supports ROG SpeedNova wireless technology for faster and more reliable connections.
ROG Gladius III Wireless AimPoint ROG AimPoint with 650 ips, 50 g acceleration and 1,000 Hz polling rate is a lightweight (79 grams) wireless RGB gaming mouse with 36,000 dpi optical sensor. Gladius III Wireless AimPoint has triple connectivity like Keris Wireless AimPoint, in 2.4 GHz RF mode, via Bluetooth and can be used with cable.
On the sound front, ROG Cetra True Wireless Pro It is the world’s first true wireless earbuds with dual USB-C wired and Bluetooth connectivity, ESS Quad DAC and AI noise canceling microphone.
In Bluetooth mode, integrated Qualcomm Snapdragon Sound technology and various hybrid active noise canceling (ANC) modes provide premium 24-bit, 96kHz low-latency wireless audio that’s perfectly synchronized with on-screen motion, while exclusive compatibility is guaranteed with use in ROG. Finally, ROG Cetra True Wireless These are gaming headsets equipped with hybrid ANC technology and offer low-latency wireless connectivity, while equalization software and specially optimized ASUS Essence 10mm drivers add an extra level of quality to gaming audio. Users can use simple quick touch controls for in-game adjustments, while the battery guarantees 27 hours of battery life.
