One of the new titles unveiled at this year’s Gamescom launch was an ambitious AAA open-world RPG titled Virdsong. It was created by the Something Wicked Games team, which includes various veterans who have worked on, for example, Skyrim, the new Fallouts or The Outer Worlds.
Then we were introduced to the game itself. through a short but rather atmospheric demofrom which, however, we have not read much information.
However, it is known that the name the action takes place in a fictional version of medieval Portugal.where we go with a fully customizable hero to complete quests and fight local monsters. The game also wants to play with the player himself, which is why elements such as an unreliable narrator, conspiracies, and various paranormal activities are built into it.

A release date has not been announced, and neither have the platforms.
But the project is created with Unreal Engine 5.
