Rena_Angel is a League of Legends cosplayer who takes her job very seriously. Self-proclaimed “out of this world”, they recreate dark parts of the Rift from objects found in its homes. Nothing seems to come off the table, and inanimate objects take center stage in Rena’s artistic tapestry.
Six years ago, Rena_Angel decided to completely change her body to become a “better cosplayer” and lose 20% of her body fat, creating a slimmer figure to hang her League of Legends art on. Seriously, the turnaround has been pretty impressive and the dedication she’s shown shows when we look at some of her work:
Here we have the Elder Dragon, fast asleep in the pit, unaware of his impending doom. For the uninitiated reading this, the cosplay is on the left side of the image. To create this beauty, Rena_Angel took sweatpants and attached them to the coat for the tail and body, respectively, and simply made the wings out of cardboard.
The next suggested cosplay will be the Nexus, the ultimate goal of any team on the Rift, and one that fans will rarely see recreated. This time it’s a cardboard base, and the red glass look is achieved by simply covering his human form with a red plastic bag. The perfection.

Although the recreations are low budget, it is surprising how well the essence of the subject is captured. The level of creativity here is embarrassing.
