Insomniac Games and Nixxes have released the first post-launch update for the PC version. Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, Patch 1.817.1.0. Among the innovations of the update we find the following performance: Nvidia DLSS improvements and fixing a number of issues.

  • Fixed various crashes related to ray tracing.
  • Improved Windows checking to avoid false positives.
  • Visual improvements for HBAO+.
  • Fixed an issue that caused ray tracing to break on stainless steel.
  • Various visual improvements for Nvidia DLSS.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause freezing if the player changed graphics presets during cutscenes.
  • Fixed the issue where side quest popups would appear squashed when playing in widescreen resolution.
  • Improvements to stability issues when using Alt-Tab.
  • Fixed various graphical bugs.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered

Known Issues:

  • Ray tracing options are inaccessible even with compatible hardware – developers are investigating the issue.
  • Some players cannot continue Spider-Hack missions: This is a bug with frame rate higher than 60fps. The developers are working on a fix, meanwhile suggesting restarting from the last checkpoint and setting the game to Fullscreen mode and Refresh Rate to 60Hz.
  • Some players are unable to take pictures in the Empire State Building – the problem seems to manifest itself only on Intel GPUs. Intel is investigating the issue.
