Despite the many flaws people have found, Call of Duty Warzone is considered one of the best battle royale games right now, along with Fortnite and Apex Legends. But how long will this title last? Raven Software has confirmed that Warzone has pulled another page from the Fortnite Season 5 book and announced that an Umbrella Academy crossover is coming to the battle royale shooter.

On August 18, Activision provided Warzone with all the details for the game’s next major update, which includes the content roadmap for Season 5 Last Stand. This confirms that the Warzone Season 5 trailer is not a burning dream, and we can expect five new weapons for Battle Royale, in addition to Operation Last Call and some new updates from features and playlists.

Additionally, unusually, a cosmetic collaboration with Netflix’s hit action-comedy Umbrella Academy has been confirmed for Battle Royale. If you were hoping more You’ll be saddened to hear that Umbrella Academy, Sparrow Academy, and even Reginald Hargreeves didn’t make it.

butmade the famous time-lapse killer duo of Cameron Britton’s Hazel and Mary J Blige’s Cha-Cha. That’s right, we’re going to be getting Hazel and Cha-Cha Tracer packs from the in-game store.

What will be in these packages? We just don’t know for sure. What we do know, however, is that it should include two to three weapon blueprints with tracer fire effects, and a handful of minor Umbrella Academy-themed cosmetics, like calling cards and stickers.

Interestingly, as you can see from the image above, the featured skins don’t look much like Hazel and Cha-Cha in the Netflix adaptation of Umbrella Academy. Element Do however, it resembles the character’s appearances in the comics. This is quite surprising given that Activision formed an official Godzilla-King Kong partnership a few seasons ago and recently released official Terminator 2 Doomsday cosmetics. Maybe they failed to convince Netflix to let them use their live performances.

Either way, this cosmetic collaboration is just the latest in what looks to be a long line of interesting happenings in Warzone next season. However, Warzone Season 5 adds a loot-friendly Supply Box drone destruction sequence – which is actually a nice touch. We don’t yet know how the new weapons will affect the Warzone meta, but the Last Stand update will be the final miracle hit on Warzone 2’s release date and we can’t wait.
