According to the Blizzard blog, Diablo 4 has a great future ahead of it. The cornerstone of its bright days should be the seasons, which will be handled just like in Diablo 3. At the end of each stage, the game will send your champion to the Eternal Realm, which will be Blizzard’s version of Valhalla. You will still be able to play as a champion, but not next season. To do this, you will have to create a new champion with whom you will go on new adventures, kill never-before-seen monsters and perform other actions in a slightly modified game world.
Blizzard doesn’t just provide information about the seasons. There were also details regarding the in-game store. It will primarily offer cosmetic modifications that can be purchased with in-game currency. The good news is that the best cosmetic tweaks don’t have to be exclusive to a paid currency. For example, the shape of the legendary items will be available only to those who manage to get them in battle. The Season Pass form, which assumes that most of the challenges will be available for free, also looks good. Perhaps microtransactions in Diablo 4 won’t be so bad.
And what do you think about it? Do you think the chosen path is more acceptable?
