Obsidian will offer us the full version of their cute survival within the next month groundedso that soon we will be able to taste the full history of one garden full of various insects and flower dwellers.
However, before the actual release, there was another update in the public test version that brings a pretty key new feature.
These are the so-called “Shared Worlds”when the option is hidden under this name creation of up to three worlds, which can then be uploaded to the local cloud. Once you do this, your friends will be able to access this world without you as the original host, without having to be online.
Ultimately, each player can access 50 shared worlds, and currently created worlds can be made into these shared worlds, so you don’t have to start over for this feature.
However, it’s good to keep in mind that this is not a dedicated server, so such a world will always need its own host, which will be the one that joins the world first. Also, only one user can be the host at a time when others need to connect to it. However, your progress will always be saved in the cloud, so the key feature is the fact that you can easily rotate in this role with others.
The latest update to the public test is out, bringing a brand new feature: Shared Worlds! Now you no longer need to stop the game when the host has to leave. Share worlds with friends and continue the adventure. https://t.co/NBZrv74OhO
