The first one is online game video from hyenasCreative Assembly and Sega’s multiplayer shooter, taken from the closed number tests of July’s alpha.
Hyenas were announced by Sega and Creative Assembly in June with a trailer and first official details. This is one multiplayer shooter For 15 players divided into three teams who must fight to recover as much treasure as possible from the merchant ships that represent the game’s maps. Hyenas’ first alpha test took place from July 14-18, and so far no details about any material or gameplay being played on the net have been revealed.
The video was posted on YouTube by user Glitch3r, who decided to ignore the NDA signed to participate in the closed alpha. Not only will the images likely be removed shortly (although re-uploads are expected in the next few days), the kid also runs the risk of possible legal action from Sega.
Except for a brief introduction, the video, as we’ve seen, isn’t exactly the best possible quality and has intervening security watermarks. In any case, for the first time we can really get a feel for the Hyenas’ maps and gameplay dynamics, which seem to be focused on the use of a multitude of weapons and various gadgets.
As we can see, the visual style is in some ways reminiscent of Borderlands, and also with characters where the tone is absolutely over the top, not missing the opportunity to comment on the progress of the games or the actions of the players.
Hyenas is currently on PC, Xbox Series X | The S is in development for PS5, Xbox One, PS4, and PC, with a release date scheduled a year later. general 2023.
