Naughty Dog released a new one via the official Sony PlayStation YouTube channel introduction video behind the scenes The Last of Us Part 1focused motion capture and a remake of Joel and Ellie for next month on PS5 and also on PC in the future.
In the footage, we see a motion capture session with Troy Baker (Joel) and Ashley Johnson (Ellie). Neil Druckmann, co-chairman of Naughty Dog, compared to a decade ago, technology has advanced and that it is now possible to achieve significantly better fidelity of faces and facial expressions. This allows for more realistic sequences with great benefits for narration and audience engagement.
The Last of Us Part 1 will be available from: September 2 For PS5, PC version will come later. It will be a “complete overhaul of the original experience” offering “modernized gameplay, enhanced controls and expanded accessibility options” and will include Left Behind DLC.
A few days ago, Naughty Dog posted another video where The Last of Us Part 1 shows and talks about the changes made to working errors.
